I was walking along a busy street in a city, cars and trams passing by, then i entered a tram, rode one stop and exited the tram again. Zoom h1, 48/16.

Recording breaking frozen/mostly frozen ice puddles with my foot in january 2014 at horizon's park in north carolina. Recorded with a zoom h4n in the afternoon at 96/24 sample/bit rate. Mics set to gain 50 and mic position set to 90 degrees.

I needed the sound of newspapers being tossed by a delivery boy for a performance of "our town" i recorded this using a zoom h2, while tossing newspapers against my house. There are two similar recordings for two different acts. I filtered out background noise using audacity.

3 hours of uncut audio from the peaceful solidarity rally at maritime heritage park in bellingham, washington 6/6/20. The rally included a wide range of speakers, native songs, and personal stories of discrimination happening here in the community. Recorded without interruption on a zoom h4n.

4-ch surround field recording of the night-time ambience in my parents' garden, located between to streams in the south german odenwald mountain area. Clean, neutral forest and stream atmo for any purpose. Recorded in december 2013 with a zoom h2, these are the front channels, mics set to 90° dispersion.

Recorded with zoom h4n at 44,1 khz, 16 bit, stereo. Without compression. Only cut low end at about 500hz to take away a little bit of breathing and denoised some backgroundnoise for more direct sound.

A nearby moo. Taken from a field recording (quite literally) i made of the cows mooing in the field next to our house in pembrokeshire, wales. Recorded tuesday 14 april 2020 (while in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic) on a zoom q2n. Note, incidentally, that "zoom" spelt backwards is "mooz". Spooky, eh?. I hope that someone out there finds these moos to be just the thing they need. I recorded them for my own music project about ufos, but figured someone else might need a moo or two too! if you use these, please let us know in the comments.
